You’re invited to Coastal Carolina Riverwatch’s Annual Membership Open House. This is an opportunity to learn more about our organization, issues we focus on, and how you can get involved in protecting clean water.

We are currently seeking members to assist our staff and Board of Directors on the following committees: Advocacy, Events, Communications, and Membership.

Roadside trash often gets neglected, yet it inevitably reaches our marshes, rivers, and oceans. Join us in cleaning along Highway 24 on February 8th from 10 am to noon.

Meet at the Patsy Pond trailhead at 10 am- 3614 NC-24, Newport, NC

Bring a reusable water bottle and gloves if you have them. All cleaning supplies will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather.

We will be using the Marine Debris Tracker app. Download it for free if you’d like to try it out.


Join us in a litter cleanup at Topsail Beach on February 16th from 10 am to noon. We’ll meet at the 2nd access – 2976 Island Dr. Feel free to bring sunscreen and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
