Coastal Carolina Riverwatch is so thankful to have such an amazing base of volunteers, but the work is never done! Join us in making a difference in your community.

    • Cleanups– several cleanups occur in both watersheds throughout the year. Some are on foot, some on kayaks, canoes, or power boats, and some are even miles offshore along the ocean’s sargassum lines. Join our mailing list to be notified of them.lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllljkljjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
    • Office Support – write e-newsletters, reply to emails and be a presence in our office.

    • Membership Recruitment- memberships are important financially, but even more so in building community alliances for clean water. Help us with outreach to strengthen this foundation.

    • Events and Fundraising – assist in the organization of paddle trips, and events such as beach volleyball tournament, concerts, film festivals, etc.

    • Tabling– work the information table at festivals and events throughout the watersheds. This may include simple outreach or short educational demonstrations.

    • Grant Writing – have experience in grant writing, or want to learn? Let us know!

    • Water Quality Monitoring– attend a water monitoring training to properly collect samples and deliver them to the Crystal Coast Waterkeeper office. “Adopt” a spot for regular monitoring, or serve as an alternate.

    • Public Speaking – be a back up motivational speaker for events during tight schedules. Join us at commissioner meetings or public comment meetings to voice your opinions on pollution issues.

    • Ocean Friendly Establishments– recruit OFE’s and award them certificates.
