Coastal Carolina Riverwatch is working with communities and watershed partners to identify water quality concerns and restoration opportunities in the Upper New River watershed. The Upper and Lower New River planning efforts are supported by the North Carolina Land and Water Fund.
The Upper New River effort focuses on the freshwater headwaters and upstream communities. Community observations help identify stormwater, flooding, erosion, wastewater, and stream restoration needs.
