We’re thrilled to announce our next book club pick: “Charleston: Race, Water, and the Coming Storm” by Susan Crawford.
This insightful book takes a close look at how environmental issues intersect with racial and social justice, focusing on Charleston, SC. As residents of coastal North Carolina, we find many parallels between the challenges faced in Charleston and our own community.

By exploring this book together, we aim to deepen our understanding of the complex relationship between environmental health and social justice and inspire collective action to protect our coastal communities.
