“The proposed Align/Grady Road Biogas being forced on the citizens of North Carolina by Smithfield Foods and Dominion Energy is NOT a sustainable, renewable energy source. It is nothing more than a method to perpetuate the use of an antiquated waste management system that harms the environment and the neighbors who will have to continue to suffer the stench of hog farms. The only ones to benefit will be Smithfield Foods and Dominion Energy. We DO NOT need this in North Carolina.” -Larry Baldwin, Crystal Coast Waterkeeper.
