Quick aside: my uncle Joe brought mariculture to our coast back in the 1970’s. He clammed up in Barnegat Bay & took the 1st courses from U. Delaware. It’s relatively easy to spawn billions of clams in large salt water tanks, it’s labor intensive and timely (3 yrs), to raise them to market but spawning and releasing them in leased areas of our estuaries to naturally filter the waters would be easy. You’d just be helping Nature along by increasing the natural filters by the billions plus, , (don’t mention this to any of the mariculture guys, they’d go into cardiac arrest) Take care Leese,
